Talking Wellness
Talking Wellness is a collective of professional counsellors and coaches who are passionate, committed and care.
We offer counselling and coaching focused on increased self-understanding, acceptance, and a greater sense of possibility, to help you navigate your own way through challenges, make empowering choices, and achieve your personal goals.
Your counselling or coaching sessions will help you to explore and gain deeper insight in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental relationship, focused on your best interests.
We work with a variety of adults and young people. We are proficiency registered members of the BACP and practice within the BACP and ICF ethical framework.
Counselling
We can all face issues in life, counselling is for people that experience all kinds of difficulties that impact on their well-being and happiness. Counselling sessions focus on you to help you gain more self-understanding and acceptance, sort out confused feelings, or make different choices that will empower you in a positive way.
Our counsellors are qualified in a variety of approaches:

Our counsellors have experience working with a range of issues including anxiety, panic attacks, stress, low mood, depression, bereavement and loss, sleep problems, self-confidence, anger, self-harm, trauma, abuse, LGBT+ , eating and weight/shape distress. Coaching
Coaching is for people who want to make a meaningful change but feel unsure how to move forward. It’s a safe, confidential space to help you think things through, discover your own answers, and take action.
We work with adults and young people on self-confidence, weight and body image, healthy habits, work-life balance, living with ADHD, managing emotions and conflict, and building resilience and accountability. This includes Academic Coaching and Youth Coaching.
Our integrative approach draws on Somatic Coaching and Leadership Embodiment, Transactional Analysis, Fields of Conversation, Emotional Intelligence, Gestalt (Two-Chair), Experiential Learning Theory, Restorative Practice, and Anti-Oppressive Practice, alongside insights from his lived experience of ADHD. What we can offer
Counselling: you will be offered a no-cost/obligation 15-20 minute consultation call, where we will discuss where you are now, what you struggling with, and where you want to be.
Coaching: you will be offered a free/confidential 30-45 minute pre-coaching call, to explore your goals and needs from coaching, and how you can best be supported on your journey.
We have an established practice therapy room in the Atkins Building in Hinckley where we can see you in person for your sessions and we can also offer remote sessions via video or telephone. Please contact us if you have any questions or wish to make an enquiry for counselling/coaching.
